NYAB: Digital delivery note management in the upgrade of the Silverhöjden railway track
NYAB is upgrading the Silverhöjden railway track in Bergslagen — a wide-ranging railway project worth SEK 238 million with a short construction period and many subcontractors.
17.5 km of track replacement in Bergslagen
The contract covers track replacement to a raised profile along the 17.5-kilometre stretch Ställdalen–Grängesberg, replacement of ten track switches, new sub-ballast, new overhead contact line, reconstruction of level crossings, improved drainage, and repainting of the steel bridge over the Ställdalsån river. The measures will raise the line's standard to levels equivalent to double track.
The short construction period, from April to November 2026, places extra-high demands on efficient coordination and documentation.
Full traceability at a high pace
As part of the project's documentation management, NYAB uses digital delivery notes via Kubicom to collect data from its subcontractors. The solution makes it possible to receive delivery information in a structured way and then digitally forward the required data to the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket). This contributes to increased traceability throughout the chain, reduces manual intermediate steps, and ensures that the client's documentation requirements are met – particularly valuable in a fast-paced project with many parties involved.
Client: Trafikverket. Construction period: April–November 2026.
