Digital delivery notes in the rebuilding of Tungelstavägen

On behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration, Svevia is rebuilding road 257, Tungelstavägen, between Västerhaninge and Tungelsta — and is using Kubicom for digital delivery notes throughout the project.

The project includes a range of road-safety measures — among them a new signal-controlled junction, speed bumps, a left-turn lane and adapted bus stops near Tungelsta school. The road is the only connection between Västerhaninge and Tungelsta, meaning the work must be carried out in stages while keeping traffic flowing throughout the construction period.

It is a technically wide-ranging project involving elements such as road construction, retaining walls, refuges, surfacing and extensive traffic management — precisely the kind of civil engineering project where material flows are numerous and documentation is critical.

On the project, Svevia is using Kubicom to collect digital delivery notes. The solution gives the project organisation full real-time control over deliveries and material flows, without manual paperwork. This simplifies follow-up, reduces the risk of errors and contributes to smoother day-to-day operations on a site where precision and logistics are especially important.
