NCC: QR-based reporting with the BEAst standard
Often the simplest way is the best way. In this project with NCC, we showed how a QR code and a mobile app can replace paper handling and create real-time data for everyone involved.
A QR code as the key to a digital flow
Using a QR code based on the BEAst standard, truck drivers easily scan the weighbridge ticket with the Kubicom app. The QR code contains all order-related information along with current weighbridge data. All information is then automatically sent to NCC for compilation and forwarding to Trafikverket.
Simpler, faster, and always correct
The QR code saves a lot of time. The truck drivers' job becomes simpler, the information is always correct, and the transport coordinator receives all information in real time. The project was carried out in collaboration with BEAst, the construction industry's standardisation organisation.
