Norra Djurgårdsstaden: the pilot project that showed the way
The pilot project in Norra Djurgårdsstaden, focused on environmental data, was the starting point for the City of Stockholm's decision to introduce digital environmental reporting in live operation.
The hub for environmental data
Kubicom was system supplier to the City of Stockholm in the Norra Djurgårdsstaden pilot project. The task: to be the hub that collects and manages all environmental data in the project. The mass logistics centre that was set up, where Kubicom administered and created traceability for excavated material and waste, attracted significant attention in the industry.
In total, around ten integrations from subcontractors sent data to Kubicom. The system compiled reports and compared results against set targets. Through Kubicom, adapted to the BEAst standard, full traceability was achieved for all data, from sorting to transport.
From pilot to live operation
The success of the pilot project was decisive for the City of Stockholm's decision to procure Kubicom for live operation. The lessons and experience from Norra Djurgårdsstaden form the basis of the digital environmental reporting the city is now rolling out to more projects.
