Strukton: Digital data collection in the switchgear replacement at Halmstad C
Strukton is carrying out a switchgear replacement at Halmstad C as part of modernising the station area to meet increasing traffic on the Västkustbanan line.
Switchgear replacement across multiple disciplines
The assignment covers switchgear replacement at the operating locations Furet, Halmstad C, Halmstad marshalling yard and Kistinge. The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket), together with Halmstad Municipality, is modernising the entire station area to meet an expected traffic increase on the Västkustbanan line of up to 50 percent southbound by 2040.
Strukton's contract covers work within track, electrical, signalling, telecom, civil works and cabling, and runs during 2026–2027. The project involves multiple disciplines and a large number of subcontractors.
Structured data throughout the chain
Strukton uses Kubicom to collect data from its subcontractors via digital delivery notes. The solution makes it possible to receive delivery information digitally in a structured way and then forward the required data to Trafikverket without manual intermediate steps. This provides full traceability and ensures that the client's documentation requirements are met throughout the chain.
Client: Trafikverket. Expected completion: 2027.
