Veidekke: Digital delivery notes in Västlänken's Stora Hamnkanalen
The fourth and final construction contract within the Västlänken Haga sub-project in central Gothenburg. A complex infrastructure project worth SEK 280 million with high demands on logistics and documentation.
Tunnel under Stora Hamnkanalen, SEK 280 million
The contract comprises a tunnel built both in concrete (approx. 54 meters) and in rock (approx. 16 meters), crossing Stora Hamnkanalen near its mouth to the Göta River. The project has an estimated value of around SEK 280 million and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2029.
The material flows are extensive and involve a large number of suppliers, making traceability in the supply chain a central issue.
Direct overview without paper handling
Veidekke uses Kubicom to receive digital delivery notes from its suppliers. The solution gives the project organization a direct overview of incoming deliveries without manual handling of paper delivery notes. This simplifies reconciliation, reduces administration and creates a more secure documentation chain.
